Concorde and The Prince's Trust

CATERING UNDER THE WINGS OF CONCORDE

Summer has once again been an extremely busy time for Box Tree Events, with a number of events taking place in a variety of venues over the North of England.
Without doubt one of our most challenging and exciting events was catering for one of our largest corporate client at Manchester Concorde Runway Centre. Within a hanger located just off the runway itself, Concorde G-BOAC is housed, which was to be the venue for the evening. The guests were treated to a champagne reception and offered tours on board the world's first supersonic airliner. The 150+ guests were then seated and enjoyed a four course meal, including Salmon Tournadoes, Fillet of Beef, Rasberry Milles-Feuilles, and finished off with a selection of local Cheeses. Finally, the guests made their way to the rear of the aircraft where The RAF Marching Brass Band proceeded to fill the hanger with their unforgettable sounds and marches, playing a large collection of pieces for the guests' entertainment.

BOX TREE EVENTS CATER FOR HRH PRINCE CHARLES AND SUPPORTERS OF THE PRINCE'S TRUST

Box Tree Events were lucky enough to cater for HRH Prince Charles and supporters of The Prince's Trust at Harewood House. It marked a busy day for the Prince, who visited a host of locations in Yorkshire. The day was particularly poignent for HRH, with news of The Duchess of Cambridge going into labour earlier that morning. Later in the evening it was confirmed she had given birth to Prince George Alexander Louis. At the news, the dinners erupted into cheers, and a special toast was made for the future king. Among other special guests were Lesley Garrett and Ruby Macintosh. Ruby is a beneficiary from the work of the Prince's Trust, who have helped the young musician develop a business plan, buy new equipment and release her album.
